BF3 Clan Names

Well we should probably start thing of some clan names for BF3. So lets get soem ideas out there.

I like our name from SOCOM, Rags 2 Richs [R2R]

Or we can keep it old school and go with Raven Company

Or try to start a common name for every future game and go with Elite Revolution.

Or any other ideas you might have. Lets throw some shit on the wall and see what sticks.

I think sticking to one clan name is best, or at very minimum same name for each genera. Makes things simple, especially forum wise, and recruiting. Ive always liked Universal Destruction UvD personally. Raven Company doest really fit any game but MAG.

Plus having one clan/guild name allows us to make a name and be recognised under one united banner across all game types. But honestly all the sect names have appeal. The only 2 i dont see working is Raven Company and GT Elite.

I agree with Beza on one name across all games. Would help with recognition and maybe recruiting. Don't like the PRO tag as I know it will be used by more than us.

Only bad part is my name for Dust will have to be changed if we adopt a universal name. Back to Photoshop and Gimp to work on banners.

I don't know, I was just throwing it out there. This is Project Alpha by the way.

All subdivisions of which are owned by their individual founders.

Just have fun with the clan name and treat it like it's going to be your BF tag for the next few BF releases. It could be our BF franchise tag meant only for BF. You don't need to be a greedy organization like a 3C and get bogged down looking at rep instead of creating new things, seperate yet alike.

I like being part of GT Elite
I also like Raven Company and made big moves with The Raven Alliance
I also liked Universal Destruction
I liked running in the NRCS as an instructor before the game ultimately failed the upstart league.

I don't consider myself part of one clan, I think of my game time as freely as I think of different vacation destinations. I'm all for doing something new with the BF series and letting that be the staple of those games.

Rags 2 Riches really never got used and unlike Air's rendition of the tag I think the original idea was supposed to be [r2$].

..or maybe I like originality too much. One brand just seems so damn restricting..

Just stirring the pot here but...... Who said wanting recognition is always about greed? I can't speak for everyone but for me, pride is my motivation for the recognition. My opinion was asked and i gave it. By just one name or twenty, doesn't matter... this is a great group to belong to.

Some good ideas bouncing around here. I like it.
I like both sides of the dicussion, a unique name for BF series or one name to name them all.
I will say we have alwasy had a unique name for the different games, so I are a little partial to leaning towards that idea.
I would agree that the Pro tag does not work for me given there is already the PRO clan around.
[r2$], yea that was what I meant. Though that was set aside for SOCOM, so i think that should stay SOCOM.

Bez, I may have missed something, what in that PS blog was related to this? I like the info but am missing the connection to Clans.

So far no name has jumped out at me personally, so lets see if we first can't think of some good ideas, then work on the discussion on if it should/could be used on later games as well moving forward.

Related in the way of BF3.....didnt see the need for a new and separate post. Just getting the info out is all, sorry if it appeared as though i was stepping on the subject.
